The Palamós Municipal Market
The Palamós Municipal Market and its outdoor stalls are the perfect place to buy the freshest, highest-quality products in a friendly and trustworthy atmosphere. Located on Avinguda Catalunya, the market welcomes you to shop while wandering among the scents and flavors, enchanted by the colors, shapes, and tastes of its products, all set to the lively soundtrack of market chatter and conversations.

Indoor Market
There are a total of 44 stalls covering the following sectors: meat, deli and cheese, fruit and vegetables, fish and seafood, takeaway food, salted fish stall, nut stall, bar, bakery and pastry shop, poultry shop, and a phone booth.
The building was constructed in the 1990s by J. Trillas. The façade was renovated in 2009, and in 2020, adaptation and improvement works were carried out.

Camping Internacional Palamós is located in La Fosca, a 15-minute walk from the center of Palamós.
From Camping Internacional Palamós, you can start the coastal path ‘Camí de Ronda‘ just 5 minutes on foot, right next to La Fosca beach.
The greenway that connects Palamós and Palafrugell, known as the ‘Ruta del Tren Petit’, is 6 km long. Its route follows part of the old path of the so-called ‘Tren Petit’ (Little Train) that connected Palamós with Girona passing through La Bisbal d’Empordà. You can walk to Castell Beach (short route), located in Palamós, or continue all the way to Calella Beach (long route), located in Palafrugell.

Fish Space
Interpretation center, culinary classroom, and tasting workshop focused on traditional seafood cuisine made with products landed at the port of Palamós.
Traditional Seafood Show Cooking
The show cooking sessions are demonstrations and tastings held in the culinary classroom of the Fish Workshop, led by the facility’s chefs. Their goal is to showcase fishing products, seafood cuisine, and gastronomy while guests enjoy tasting dishes with all their senses.
Guided Tours of the Fish Workshop
Various types of visits to the Fish Workshop offer an in-depth understanding of the fishermen’s work and the gastronomic culture related to fish and seafood cuisine on the Costa Brava.
All visits are conducted with the accompaniment of a guide.

Sant Esteve Castle (Castell de Sant Esteve de la Fosca)
The Fishing Museum organizes a free guided visit to the Castell de Sant Esteve de Mar, a newly restored emblem of Palamós, part of the Romànic Obert program by La Caixa’s Social Fund.
The castle is located in a privileged spot above La Fosca beach, offering extraordinary views of Palamós’s maritime coastline..
